DOM Nation's BJJ Fight for a Cause event is designed to help little ones like Emery Fitzhugh and the money we raise will directly fund research for Freidrich's Ataxia.

Dom Fight Gear has a big, growing base of fans with hearts of gold.  You know who you are--you see us on the web and at fights all over the country.  You are truly amazing, and unusually generous.  We have seen you buying gis and tees for your neighbor kid who didn't have the money, cheering for the loser (and the winner!) and going out of your way to help.  We have seen you helping our employees struggle with those heavy cabinets.  We noticed.

You know, it makes me sick to see huge movie stars and celebrities handing some cause a check for $1,000.00, acting like they're all that.  Giving should be a sacrifice, or it's no gift at all.  Tim McGraw and Faith Hill gave their hometown over $50,000,000.00 when Hurricane Ike tore through their town.  That's a gift, man. 
 
It is with that spirit we are out to cure Freidrich's Ataxia (FA), a sub-category of Muscular Dystrophy.  They need money to do more research, and we are going to get it for them--we are the team.  The A-Team, and we can do this.  They say they are 4 years from a cure, and that money could speed up the process.  Together, Dom Nation, we can make a little kid walk again--save them from a life with heart problems and early, painful death.  We can save them from untold pain and a young life in a wheelchair!  Take a look (at our info) at what FA can do to the human body, and let's get to work on it--now! 
 
Our Fight for a Cause Grappling Tournament is going to be November 6, 2010, at Liberty Christian School in Argyle, Texas--just outside Dallas.  A significant portion of the proceeds will go toward ending this nightmare and making children free to be kids again.

Dom Nation is the MMA World's answer to bullying. There is an epidemic that is destroying good kids-and it's directly related to our business, combat. There are some serious punks out there making life miserable for kids either because they're different or because the bully can't handle people around him (or her) being happy. The answers involve strength in numbers and making it socially uncool to be a bully. We know this is a huge mountain to climb, and we realize the problem CAN be solved and WILL BE solved. We enlisted some of the best talent in the MMA and were amazed how they "Got it" and jumped onboard. We are excited to be developing the DOM Nation and can't wait get this bird in the air.
